From the shores of Lake Erie to the banks of the twisting Ohio River, the Buckeye State offers many attractions and fun things to do.

Some of its major cities are Akron, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati and Toledo. Family attractions abound and here are but a few. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is one of the biggest and most visited sites in Cleveland. With all your favorite stars, it has many exhibits and musical events and is a favorite with visitors to Cleveland. The Football Hall of Fame in Canton is a must for those who love the sport. It has wonderful exhibits about your other favorite stars, complete with the history of pro football. You will also find the wonderful Cleveland Museum of Art and Metro Parks Zoo in Cleveland.

The Cedar Park Amusement Park is very exciting. Located in Sandusky on the Lake Erie peninsula, it has rides, roller coasters and gardens in a beautiful resort like setting. The Paramount Kings Island Resort in Cincinnati is another spectacular amusement park with over 364 acres of rides, shows, places to eat and many things to do for the whole family.

The Franklin Park Conservatory is a beautiful place to visit. Located in Columbus it is a cultural gem, with over 90 acres of exquisitely manicured gardens and many special exhibits and programs. Its historic past has placed it on the prestigious National Register of Historic Places.

Great Lakes Brewing Company is a fun place to go as well, and you can have a meal where they actually brew their beer. The Great Lakes Science Center, with its focus on the Ohio Great Lakes, is a fascinating place. With many exhibits and omnimax films of the Ohio Great Lakes, it is a unique and exciting site. These are both also located in Cleveland.

Of all the attractions in Ohio, however, The Ohio State Fair is one of the most beloved in the whole state. Held in Columbus, it is massive with over twenty buildings for expos , livestock and cultural events. Held in August, it is by far the favorite fair of all Ohioans..

Still to be enjoyed are the many state parks offering biking, camping, fishing, golf and skiing. And the many professional sports teams will also keep you busy, eight in fact. The Cincinnati Reds (MLB), The Cleveland Browns (NFL) and the Cleveland Indians (MLB) are but a few.
